Vegetation Maps

Use Machine Learning and/or GIS to better map vegetation:

1. Tree canopy cover mapping – percent tree canopy cover
2. Tree size mapping – average tree size by stand
3. Better vegetation maps – dominant species, canopy, volume, tree size, understory, maps/spatial data on invasive and non-native species
4. Biodiversity hot spots
5. Fuel Treatment monitoring
6. Bonus: pulling together these ML and environmental feature identification processes and products into a detailed analysis of “current conditions” to drive subsequent predictive analyses or operational efforts.
