Do you want to acquire some extra skills that will help you in your hackathon efforts and future data projects? We are offering a few free workshops to get you up to speed on some handy tools like GIS, Google Earth Engine, Mapbox (the OpenStreetMaps people), and how to manipulate satellite images such as those from Planet.
We have lined up some experts to get you up to speed on some powerful tools. (And the experts are also available for follow-up consultation via Slack, etc. during the entire 9 weeks.)
Scheduled Workshops
- Friday, April 5, 9-12p. Geospatial Book Camp: Workshops on geospatial data and tools from QGIS, Planet, and Google Earth Engine.
- Thursday, April 11, 3pm Working with Messy Data in MATLAB.
- Introduction to Mapbox tools. Previously recorded workshop available HERE.
- Geospatial Nuts and Bolts review by the incomparable Stace Maples.
