May 18 update:

The Project Expo is rapidly approaching. If you haven't done so already, please contact Derek on Slack to reserve a spot at the Poster Session which will be held in the Y2E2 Courtyard on Friday, May 27, 1-3pm. We are also asking that you submit and electronic summary of your work on Devpost so that your amazing work can be judged by a couple of remote judges including Microsoft who is awarding a special prize.

April 12 update:

This week's workshop will be hosted by Mapbox (the OpenStreetMap folks). Please join them on Zoom here this coming Friday, April 15 at 3pm.

Mathworks will be giving a workshop on working with big and messy data with MATLAB on Friday, April 22, 12:30pm. Please register for the workshop here

Some people have been asking for suggestions on where to look for data. There are links to some datasets associated with the individual project ideas on this website, but here is  a compiled list of some data sources that might be of interest to some of you. This is by no means exhaustive, but it gives an idea of what is available. If you are looking for something else, please ask. We can't promise you we will know of every source available, but we can hopefully point you in the right direction.
